time to go manual. hopefully.

so my parents finally found the ancient SLR we had from decades back. i've been bugging them for the longest time to look for it and the hype sort of died down after a while. but then this morning, my mom had the best morning-news ever.

she pulled out of one of her drawers and voila! the old SLR!

and so i felt like the happiest boy for christmas. except that now, i need to know if this thing works. i mean, it's been stowed away for the longest time. and judging by the way it was kept, i don't think it's at its mean condition. so now, it's hidalgo time. but damn was i blown away by all the manual possibilities. i'm not really great with the whole manual settings yet. but this way, i'd be literally forced to learn. otherwise, all my photos will turn out crappy. and with it, i don't exactly have the luxury of finding out how crappy my photo came up. up until the time i spend on developing it.

i'm hoping yashica works. and if she doesn't, i hope she still can. and if she does, i hope i don't have to spend that much on making her work. hahaha.

what a cheap-o. lol.

i'm excited. :)
