sunday morning clubhouse.

Thursday, June 24, 2010

sometimes, all it takes for a sunday morning win is a dip in good ol' clubhouse swimming pool.

sundays in tagaytay are always do-whatever-you-want-to-do-with-your-free-time days. we practically have the whole day to ourselves. there's not that much to do in tagaytay so you're bound to either squeeze out some creative juices out of your spontaneous brain or just do some lazy club housing. that one sunday morning, we opted for the latter. and by we, i mean we and gabbie.

i was actually more like a chaperone than a swimming buddy that morning. which worked out perfectly fine for me. i got to take pictures. if not for the scorching heat, it would've been a perfect day.

heat or no-heat, i think gabbie though it still was. a perfect day, that is.

BR does seafood!

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

we've officially gotten accustomed to eating out for free almost twice a month now. all thanks to the random rewards and recognition stuff we have scattered all over. we're not complaining.

i've actually lost track of why we have money to spend on food. but when we do, i make sure we spend it wisely! haha. so i click-the-city-ed and looked for places. vinci pointed this one out and i think it was wise decision indeed.

seafood island is interestingly good.

they all had to wear something purple-y. i didn't get the memo.

ate micah. our honorary guest. she's welcome anytime. every time. all the time.

fearless leader.

vinci. barbie. they hungered for rice.

mary flor. hazel.

leo. he declined the seafood offer. but he had to be dragged along. and he complied, much to our happiness.

we checked out the menu beforehand and found these boodle feasts to be quite a deal. i'm really not that much into seafood but even this looked tantalizingly good. i didn't know what to expect. the seafood island we went to was just in market market. but i never really got to try it out. it looked oddly obscure from the rest of the eating places there and i'm almost tempted to judge it by the way it looked from the outside. but then huge-ass platters of seafood on beds of rice came and we all just died and went straight to rice-heaven.

something with coconut milk. it's the obligatory gata-dish.

lone pusit.

we had our fair share of "vegetables"

it was also sort of our welcoming to dinner to our new band 2, ate joysi! and yes, she was shocked at our appetite. among other things.

the look of utter disgust hidden in the form of shock.

whatta face ate chiqui. whatta face.

and before we knew it, we ravaged the table 'til there was nothing left.

poor tentacle and claw.

give us fifteen minutes and we'll give you this.

we capped the night of by grabbing more sweets. as if we haven't had enough food.

BR dinners are epic.
