family dinners (01292010)

it's never really a full week unless we get to have a family lunch. sunday usually does the trick. but of course, when we have friends or relatives from abroad, either we or my sister hosts a dinner at home. i guess our family loves entertaining. oh and it's a cardinal sin to miss out one of these! so when we host one either at home or outside, everyone has to be there! in short, i left the office early again. i know. i hardly work anymore these days. hahaha! anyway, traffic was just horrible. HORRI-FUCKING-BLE. if there's anything that annoys me the most, it's bad traffic. and it didn't help that my dad was totally ruining my driving mojo. so he made me take all these unnecessary turns. so yeah, bad traffic. plus a backseat driver. bad combination.

anyway. an hour and a half of gruesome traffic and hell of a lot of backseat driving from makati to katipunan, we finally got to my sister's! and i was hungry like crazy.

your cheese is very much appreciated. but i need me my meat!

i was hungry as hell. so i didn't get to take a lot of pictures. i romped my way through dinner! the roast pork was heaven eh. hahaha! (i miss my diet. :() i did envy my sister though. cos she still gets to cook! i can't remember the last time i prepared dinner (or any meal, for that matter) that i single-handedly prepared. i mean with the help of the helpers of course. but i mean the whole thinking about dishes and actually cooking them.

my sister: "i'll retire at 40 and study culinary. to hell with banking!" tell it like it is, sister!

of course there had to be some daddy-piano-ing time!

i'm gonna miss my cousin's family. i shit you not.
